of laser treatment methods in mass out-patient practice. The apparatus
is suitable for all kinds of out-patient surgical operations on soft
tissues of oral cavity, face and neck.
The
system features optimal laser beam parameters providing for high
therapeutical efficiency and minimum of surgical intervention.
Laser
radiation wavelength is 10,6 m, power - in the range from 0,5 to 5 W,
modes of operation - CW and pulsed. Diameter of the beam is 0,2 mm.
Visualization of the beam on the tissue is performed through use of 0,63
m beam of a "pilot" laser. Exposure time - 1-99 s.
The
laser can continuously operate during 8 hours. Power consumption from
220 V, 50 Hz mains does not exceed 350 VA. Self-contained cooling
eliminates the need for connection to water pipe-line. Dimensions - 20 x
