YATAGAN-4-MICRO
Laser Set for Ophthalmology

Yatagan

   The YATAGAN-4-MICRO Laser Set for Ophthalmology is a laser photodestructor designed to carry out microsurgical operations on the anterior chamber of the eye and the lens capsule by a focused beam of a Q-switched pulsed neodymium laser.

YATAGAN-4-MICRO's potentialities:

compactness;
provides precision selectiveness and safety of action with a beam convergence angle up to 25°;
the set of handpieces with different focal distance;
a pilot visible beam of the semiconductor laser;
the possibility to operate with any slit lamp or operating microscope.
Indications for use:
traumatic and secondary cataracts;
various kinds of pupillary membranes;
initial open-angle, closed-angle and mixed glaucomas in the first and latter stages;
secondary glaucomas caused by adhesion and obliteration of the pupil;
iris cysts;
thread-like and band-like tracts in the vitreous body.
The most carried-out procedures:
laser discission of the back capsule of the crystalline lens with an artificial lens and in aphakia;
laser iridectomy;
laser discission of the front capsule of the lens before cataracts extraction;
laser discission of goniosynechia (trabeculotomy).
