Pulsed Power Components:

Three - Electrode Triggered Spark Gaps

The addition of a third electrode makes it possible to establish an arc at gap voltages below the static breakdown value, when a relatively low energy pulse applied to the trigger electrode, producing a small arc which transferes rapidly to the main gap.

Our product range covers anode votages from 0.6 up to 40 kV, at repetitive discharge rate from 0.1 to 200 Hz
Contains no mercury as buffer gas
Features high reliability and considerable lifetime

Application:

high power installations of material processing
pulse generators for plasma focus systems, pulsed lasers, lithotripters, oil-well processing
