MATERIAL PROCESSING SYSTEMS POLYUS Research & Development Institute has a great experience in development of laser system for various industrial applications. For many years the unifie KVANT series of systems based on solid-state lasers has been produced. The multi-purpose KVANT-15 System with output power up to 150 W is the most commonly used for spot and seam welding, cutting, drilling, hardening by heat treatment and other technological processes. The UMLA-600-013 Laser Marking system is used for obtaining alphabetic, numerical or graphical images on hard materials. LGA System based on CO2 laser was developed and widely produced for manufacturing of photomasks and printed forms on a silverless film.

KVANT - 151 Desk-Top Laser Welding System is based on a compact pulsed Nd:YAG laser. The system is used for precision spot or seam welding of various metals (steel, silver, gold), highly refracting metals (platinum, molybdenum, tantalum)and various alloys with a thickness up to 1.5 mm.

The system is equipped with a stereoscopic viewing channel, and a carried out welding operation can be combined with assembling operations and visual quality inspection of welded parts. Pulsed operation mode ensures a welding of metals with minimum total heating of parts and without thermal deformation. The parts remain practically cold during the process. It is possible welding in areas that are not easily accessible and through optically transparent glass. Everything seen through the microscope can be welded. KVANT - 151 Desktop Laser Welding System requires only single-phase mains of 220 V for operation. The system is equipped by closed water-to-air cooling loop. Desktop design, easy operation and minimum maintenance are the advantages of the system.

LASERART
Glass Art Laser System

LASERART

LASERART Glass Art Laser System is designed to make glass souvenirs with three-dimensional pictures and plane portraits in a glass volume.

Features

Making a small dimensions of a break-down point due to the use of the single-mode laser
Possibility of reproduction of 256-scale of Grey
Simultaneous operation with two samples by splitting of beam into two channels

Main Principles

A focused laser emission produced a local fracture (breakdown) observed as a small star-shaped point in a glass volume. The computer-controlled positioner moves the focus of a laser emission in such way that points produced a picture in glass sample. To make a portrait an image from digital camera or routine photography is converted to the computer processor and then is carried out in glass sample.
